How We Help

Neuro-Academic Approach

Helping students strengthen the foundational skills that support learning, attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and confidence.

  • Neuro-Academic Learning looks at the underlying cognitive, sensory, motor, and neurological skills that contribute to how a child learns, processes information, solves problems, stays organized, and engages in everyday life.

  • By identifying strengths and areas of challenge, interventions can be tailored to support more efficient learning, greater confidence, and improved performance both in and outside the classroom.

Nervous system regulation services supporting emotional resilience, regulation, and overall well-being through brain-based interventions.

Nervous System Regulation

Supporting individuals & families through education, nervous system regulation strategies, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) to promote greater resilience, emotional regulation, social connection, and capacity for everyday life.

  • The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening-based intervention that helps support the nervous system's ability to move from patterns of stress and protection toward greater regulation and connection.

  • As regulation improves, many individuals report feeling calmer, less overwhelmed, more resilient during stress, and better able to engage in relationships, work, learning, and daily life.

Parent Education & Support

Helping parents and caregivers better understand the brain, nervous system, learning, behavior, and development so they can confidently support growth and progress at home. By exploring the factors that may be contributing to challenges with learning, attention, emotional regulation, and daily functioning, families gain valuable insights, practical strategies, and a clearer understanding of how to support their child or loved one. The result is greater confidence, stronger connection, and renewed hope for meaningful growth and progress.

Why Kingdom First?

The name Kingdom First comes from Matthew 6:33: "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

At Kingdom First Wellness Center, this verse serves as a reminder that our ultimate purpose extends beyond academic achievement, professional success, or personal accomplishments. We believe that Kingdom work includes building up the Body of Christ and equipping people to use their God-given gifts, talents, and calling. When challenges with learning, attention, regulation, anxiety, overwhelm, or connection interfere with daily life, they can also affect a person's ability to fully engage in relationships, serve others, and pursue the work they have been called to do. Our hope is that by helping strengthen these foundations, individuals and families are better equipped to grow, flourish, and live out their unique purpose.

While we use evidence-informed educational and nervous system approaches, our work is grounded in the belief that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made and worthy of understanding, support, and encouragement.

For us, "Kingdom First" is both a name and a reminder to keep our priorities aligned with what matters most.
